Terms of Service

The complete ground rules for using our platform and booking events with DJ Hub.

1. Definitions

“DJ Hub”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to our company and its employees, DJs, MCs, and vendors. “Client”, “you”, and “your” refer to the person or organization booking services through this site.

“Services” means the DJ, MC, and event entertainment services described in your signed contract. “Booking” means the reserved event date and package selected by you. “Contract” means the event-specific agreement signed electronically through this platform, which together with these Terms governs your event.

“Platform” or “app” means this website and its mobile application, including client portals, inquiry forms, chat, and payment features.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By using this platform, submitting an inquiry, creating an account, or signing a contract, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform or our services.

If you are booking on behalf of an organization or another person, you represent that you have the authority to bind that person or organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book services or create an account. Accounts are for your use only; you are responsible for activity that occurs under your login and for keeping your credentials secure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that are used for fraud, abuse of our staff, scraping or automated data collection, or any activity that threatens the platform or other users.

4. Services

DJ Hub provides professional DJ, MC, and event entertainment services for weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, festivals, and private parties. Specific services, duration, staffing, and equipment for each event are defined in your signed contract.

Submitted inquiries and proposals are not a confirmed reservation until a contract is signed and any required deposit is received. Dates remain open until that moment and may be booked by other clients.

Requests for specific DJs, MCs, songs, and genres are accommodated whenever possible, but final staffing assignments remain at the discretion of DJ Hub. In the unlikely event an assigned performer becomes unavailable (illness, emergency), we will provide a qualified replacement of equal or better caliber.

5. Quotes & Proposals

Quotes and proposals are valid for the period stated on them (typically 14 days) and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Pricing depends on event date, location, duration, package, staffing, and equipment requirements.

Significant changes requested after contract signing — such as added hours, additional equipment, travel beyond the quoted distance, or changes to the venue — may result in revised pricing, which we will communicate in writing before the event.

6. Bookings & Scheduling

Event dates are held for you only after your contract is signed and your deposit is paid. Booking windows, setup, and teardown times are listed in your contract.

Access to the performance area, including tables, shelter from weather, and adequate electrical power (typically at least two dedicated 20-amp circuits), must be available before the scheduled setup time. Delays caused by unavailable setup access may reduce performance time.

7. Payments & Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your date, as stated in your contract. Deposits are applied toward your total balance unless otherwise noted. Final balances are due by the date listed on your invoice.

Payments can be made by card through our secure checkout or by arrangement with your event coordinator. All amounts are in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and service fees, if any, are itemized on your invoice.

Payments made through the platform are for the specific invoice they reference; amounts are not transferable between events.

8. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are defined in your signed contract. Unless your contract states otherwise, deposits are non-refundable for cancellations within 30 days of the event, and partially refundable before that window — your contract controls.

Rescheduling requests are handled case by case. If your new date remains available and staffing permits, we will apply your deposit to the rescheduled event rather than lose your booking. Rescheduling within 14 days of the event may incur a fee.

If DJ Hub cancels for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit. Weather, venue, and other client-side cancellations are governed by the Force Majeure section.

9. Overtime & Event-Day Changes

Performance time beyond the contracted duration (“overtime”) is billed at the hourly rate in your contract and must be approved by the on-site DJ and the client. Overtime is subject to staffing and venue limitations and may not always be available.

Song requests from you and your guests are welcome; your event's must-play and do-not-play lists, agreed in advance, take priority.

10. Client Responsibilities & Conduct

You are responsible for providing a safe, legal, and adequately powered performance space, including venue access for setup before the event begins and for teardown afterward.

Our team will not facilitate or permit activity that violates venue rules, local law, or safety standards. DJ Hub may end services early, without refund, if conditions are unsafe for our staff or equipment — including threatening behavior, unauthorized pyrotechnics, or structural/electrical hazards.

You are responsible for the conduct of your guests as it relates to our staff and equipment, and for ensuring the venue permits amplified music at the event's hours.

11. Equipment & Technical Requirements

Equipment included with your package is listed in your contract. Additional equipment (extra speakers, uplighting, fog machines, microphones) must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and fees.

Outdoor events require overhead protection for the DJ station (tent, canopy, or similar) — moisture and direct sun can damage equipment and create safety risks. If adequate protection is not provided on the event day, our team may relocate or pause services until it is safe to continue.

Damage to DJ Hub equipment caused by you or your guests may be billed to the client at repair or replacement cost.

12. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, power failure, government action, public health emergencies, or venue closure.

If a force majeure event prevents performance, we will first attempt to reschedule your event. If rescheduling is not possible, amounts paid will be handled per your contract's cancellation provisions.

13. Liability & Insurance

DJ Hub carries professional equipment and liability coverage. Our total liability for any claim arising from an event is limited to the amount you paid for the affected services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost enjoyment, venue penalties, or damages arising from venue restrictions, guest conduct, or third-party vendors.

Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event date. Where local law does not allow certain limitations, they apply only to the extent permitted.

14. Intellectual Property & Content

All content on this platform — branding, text, images, and design — belongs to DJ Hub or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without permission.

Media (photos, video, recordings) created at your event may be used by DJ Hub for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing. You retain ownership of content you upload to the platform and grant us the limited right to store and display it in connection with your event (for example, playlist uploads and shared files).

15. Communications & Electronic Records

By using the platform, you agree to receive transactional communications (booking updates, contract notices, invoices, reminders) by email and through the app's chat and notification features.

Contracts, invoices, and records signed or stored electronically through the platform are valid and enforceable, and you consent to conduct business electronically.

16. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

If a concern arises, please contact us first — nearly every issue can be resolved with a conversation. Any dispute not resolved informally will be governed by the laws of the state in which the event takes place, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

The parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing formal legal action.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you sign your contract governs that booking. Continued use of this site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
